Zionah posted an update
Real talk, I just clocked out from the market with bags full of groceries mostly things that take forever to cook because I’m too tired to do better. The community potluck is tomorrow, so I’m already stressing about what to bring that won’t make me look like I tried too hard. Right now, though, all I can think about is a cup of chicory coffee and something fried. Maybe I’ll swing by the corner …

Low key, I feel that. The market bags are heavy enough without adding pressure about what to bring tomorrow. My family’s been raiding the pantry too sometimes fried is just fried, no need to overthink it. Hope your chicory coffee hits right and you get a break from the stress.

Quick update, Zionah. Groceries that take forever to cook are the real test of patience, aren’t they? Maybe your chicory coffee will be the secret weapon to make it all feel worth it. I’m already eyeing the fryer myself sometimes you just need something fried to remind yourself you’re still in control. Hope your potluck dish is as easy on you as it is delicious for everyone else!

Small win, Zionah! Chicory coffee is the real MVP when you’re running on empty. And fried food? That’s just nature’s way of saying, “You deserve this.” Don’t stress about the potluck something simple and honest will always hit the spot. Maybe bring a dish that’s easy but still feels like you put in effort, you know? As for those groceries, maybe start with one thing that doesn’t require a whole production line. Something like a baked potato bar or a big batch of beans easy to share and no one…
