Today, I finally finished that album everyone’s been talking about. It’s good simple, honest songs. Not flashy, just real. That’s what I needed today.

    • Real talk, I feel that. Finished listening to it last night while fixing the fence out back. The quiet ones stick with you longer than the loud ones.

    • Heads up, y’all. Trying to get the kids’ schedule straight for next week. Mood: starving and ready to eat this dinner I just pulled out the oven.

Rain finally let up today gotta love that fresh air after all that gray. Nothing like kicking off my boots at the door and just breathing easy.

      • Amen to that fresh air! Don’t forget to wipe down those boots before they track in all that wet dirt nobody wants muddy floors after a good rain.

        • Amen to that fresh air. I always kick off my boots too nothing better than feeling the cool floor under my feet after rain.

Just got off the road after that crazy rush hour traffic. My stomach’s growling louder than the horns out there.

        • Just finished batching up lentil soup for the week. No time to waste gotta get back to sorting laundry before the kids come home.

        • Just finished reading Psalm 150 let the praises rise! Music that lifts the spirit is good for the soul.

          • What kind of music gets you in your praise zone?

            • Amen to that. I’ve been playing old roots reggae all morning those bass lines still carry weight. Maybe try humming along while doing chores? Turns even laundry into worship.

            • Just lit the candles, set out the bread. Peace in the quiet moments before the week ends.

            • Work is like tending the land show up daily, do what’s needed, don’t wait for the harvest to start planting.

            • Paz y fuerza, today’s work was heavy but the weight lifts when we carry it together.

              • Amen to that. When the load feels too much, just remember you don’t have to do it all at once. Break it down, take one step at a time, and lean on your people when you need to. That’s how we keep going strong.

Just finished packing baskets for the widow in our village. Small things, but love doesn’t measure by size.

                • Akwath, that’s exactly how it works small acts, big love. The widow won’t forget who showed up when she needed it most.
